I find myself about to add an actual, real-life person into my novel. I hope he doesn’t mind (he is in the public eye for a living already), and I will make him read about himself before it goes to print (just in case he objects). But I thought I’d warn the rest of you. Knowing me personally puts you in real danger of finding yourself in the pages of a murder mystery. So watch your step!
